The weekend of May 19 & 20 is the 8th annual County Studio Tour of Chester County...Saturday from 10-6 and Sunday 11-5. What started as a handful of artists at its inception, has grown to 64 host studios and 154 artists in a wide range of styles and mediums. It is a very unique opportunity to get to meet the artists and learn what drives their passion, inspiration and creativity.
I am honored to be a guest artist along with weaver Elaine Brooks at the home of Landenberg artist Nanci Hersh.
Tour Nanci's home studio, backyard gardens and koi pond. Her mixed media paintings, drawings, and sculptures will be on display throughout her home and studio. Elaine will be displaying her upholstery woven bags, table runners and pillows. Estelle will showcase her unique mixed media jewelry designs including earrings, necklaces and bracelets. Open and free to the public. Light refreshments will be served and all work will be available for sale.
Nanci will be available to show you around her studio where she makes her magic happen. Each participating artist will be creating one piece for this event priced at $75. The “County Collector” piece will be available first thing on Saturday morning. It’s a great opportunity to collect your favorite artist at this special price. You will be able to preview each “County Collector” piece on the website.

The county roads will be populated with easy-to-follow signs and directional arrows, leading you to the doorsteps of the most creative sanctuaries. With all four corners of Chester County blossoming with talent, it would be impossible to visit every location in just one weekend; therefore, you should choose artists that pique your interest.
County Studio Tour’s mission is to promote regional artists and contribute to the economic and cultural vitality of the area by presenting original artwork.
